Chai Black Tea

Standard

Tea of the Day: Chai Black Tea by Private Selection (Kroger)

Description: A blend of cloves, ginger, cinnamon, allspice, and nutmeg

Dry tea is very pungent, the spices getting into your nose as soon as you open the package

Liquor is a red-brown in the cup

Steeped tea smells just as pungent and it is quite flavorful. Do not attempt this tea if you don’t like spice! Adding sugar makes it a little smoother but seems to bring out the allspice and cinnamon. Definitely a warm-you-to-your-toes tea

Tea Rating: 4.5/5

Sometimes all you need for a good day is a small thing.

A meal gone well.

A glass (or two) of wine with a good friend.

Getting ahead of the game on something, whether it be taxes or homework.

Running with an idea for a meal or a desert, without second guessing yourself.

Pampering yourself by paying for a trim rather than doing it yourself (scalp massage, anyone?).

This list also happens to be a snapshot of my weekend, and though it’s just the beginning of the week and there is plenty of work to be done, I am operating around a core of internal quiet contentment.

Not too shabby for a Monday.
