Tea of the Day: Peppermint Bark by The Republic of Tea
Description: Fill your home with the aromas of peppermint and chocolate with this sweet herbal tea. Green rooibos mingles perfectly with the flavors of organic cocoa and peppermint.
Dry tea smells as advertised: like peppermint bark, just made and oh so fresh
Liquor is a clear amber color in the cup
Steeped tea smells very similar to the dry tea, except with a hint of earthiness
The tea tastes just like peppermint bark that has been frozen: chocolate and peppermint mingling together, with the flavor getting stronger after you swallow.
Tea Rating: 4/5
As much as I love family and friends and get-togethers and gatherings, exchanging presents and swapping stories, mid-December isn’t easy.
There’s often a lot of stress associated with this time of year. Whether it be because you don’t get along with some of the family you have to see, or because you’re broke and can’t spend a lot on gifts (and feel guilty for it, even though you know you should not), or because you work retail, or because you’re in college and finals are here again, there seems to be way more stress going around than is good for anyone.
So, with there being twelve days ’till Christmas (counting today), I intend to send out messages of hope and positivity and silliness (probably not all of these things at once) with my cup of tea from now until Christmas day, just to help relieve a little stress for those who care to read my blog
Day 1: For everyone who beats themselves up
