Cucumber Orange Marmalade

Tea of the Day: Cucumber orange Marmalade by The Whistling Kettle

Description: Since the Queen deigns to invite all of us to afternoon tea, we are introducing this flavorful tea, reminiscent of the High Teas found in merry old England. Designed to be paired with cucumber
sandwiches and clotted cream covered scones, this tea will offer a sweet and tangy orange marmalade flavor that is excellent hot, iced, or served with or without food.

Dry tea smells like the well known cucumber melon, but a bit sweeter

Steeped tea smells much the same, but more so

Liquor is a light amber gold in the cup

Tea tastes like a cucumber melon desert, just very sweet. You don’t really notice the citrus flavor until the aftertaste. This is a bit odd, since the tea has no melon in it…perhaps when you have cucumber + orange you just get melon? Either way, a very interesting tea, and (also interesting) better without sugar

Tea Rating: 3.75/5

Short post today, just a thought that may help you at some point in the future..

I’ve been feeling a touch unmotivated as of late, like I’m going through the motions of things but my attention and focus are not there

I get stuff done, anyway, but I can tell (even if no one else can) if I could have done a better job, and that’s a naggy feeling

I pushed past the feeling, just for an hour or so and focused on a project that was purely creative, making a Christmas gift for a friend.

Then, I got a few photos ready for public viewing, sifting through them and curating them into albums that made sense

And, as I type this, I feel better

So, maybe next time you’re feeling unmotivated, go create something.

Even if it’s quick, or small, go create.

“... so this is for us.
This is for us who sing, write, dance, act, study, run and love
and this is for doing it even if no one will ever know
because the beauty is in the act of doing it.
Not what it can lead to…“–Charlotte Eriksson
