Liquor is a vibrant red in the cup

Today, a bit of a rant.

If you love someone, let them know.

Even if you’re just talking to a friend, and you find yourself thinking “Man, I’m so happy to talk to this person, just makes my day” TELL THEM

There is no better feeling in the world than to know that someone you matters to you thinks you matter.

Chances are, that friend of yours is thinking the same thing

And you can’t ever get a relationship–of any kind–started if the other person (or persons) know how you feel.

If you’re already in a relationship of the romantic type, then telling them how you feel is a very important thing

We’ll often forget to tell our significant others how we feel after we’ve been in a relationship for a while because, well, they should know, right?

Or maybe we show it all the time, with little deeds of appreciation and caring, so we think we don’t have to say

Here’s the thing though: whether we admit it or not, people are social creatures. We actually need affirmations of how we stand with the people around us, particularly the ones we feel strongly about.

And if someone you love thanks you for dealing with them at a time that such a statement doesn’t make any kind of sense, don’t let it pass by. This is an outward sign of an inner battle with some kind of insecurity and though it more than likely isn’t caused by you, you have the chance to turn it around.

Love is not a static thing; sometimes action is required.

The most trying hours in life are between four o’clock and the evening meal. A cup of tea at this time adds a lot of comfort and happiness. ~Royal S. Copeland
