Tea of the day: Vanilla Mint by Golden Moon Tea
Description: A smooth and refreshing blend of green and black tea with fragrant mint and rich vanilla bean pieces.
Smells exactly as you’d expect from the name: bright mint with a warm vanilla undertone
Liquor is orangey red-brown in the cup
Smells more strongly of vanilla when steeped, with a nice smokey hint as well.
Tastes like smooth vanilla followed by a lingering mint
Be careful to steep for the shortest time in instructions, it gets bitter and astringent very quickly.
Tea Rating: 3.75/5
Today’s thought is pretty simple:
Don’t put things off!
I had one of those mornings from the books of ridiculous things that can happen to a person on a normal morning…but it was at least partially my fault.
There was one particular issue that I knew needed fixing, and I even knew how to fix it, but I kept putting it off. The result: worst work morning I’ve had in a long time.
Moral of the story is, if you have an issue and you know what it is and how to fix it, just take care of it. It’s easy to come up with a whole long list of reasons to not do it, or why it doesn’t have to be done right now…but take care of it. If not right now, as soon as you possibly can
It might seem arduous, but trust me, it’ll save you time (and in some cases heartache) if you do what you know needs to be done as soon as you can
