White Peony

Today’s tea: Organic White Peony by Sipping Streams

Also known as Balmudan, this tea is made from very small buds and leaves that are plucked in early spring. Makes a very light tea

Dry tea smells very grassy and earthy. For some reason it puts me in mind of a summer campfire.

Liquor is a very light amber in the cup. It also smells just like the dry tea, but the flavor is much milder than the aroma would suggest. Barely- there in terms of flavor, making it probably great for an extended ceremony where you have to drink a lot of tea, or to cleanse the pallet. I personally feel that it would taste better blended with another tea

Tea rating: 2/5

I have a lot of thoughts in my mind tonight, so for now I’ll just say this: there is no growth without risk.
